Hi, I got a new Ceed GT with automatic transmission at the beginning of October. Since I’ve completed a few kilometers, I drove a little faster over the highway for the first time (approx. 180 to 200 km/h in sports mode). On climbs, the Ceed always switches back to the 6th gear, so that the engine turns very high – over 5400 revolutions. Even if I drive over the country road with 100 and in sports mode, the DCT always switches itself into the 6th gear. nter, if I have previously switched myself to the highest gear by rocker. Is that normal? I noticed that the DCT doesn’t turn on itself in the 7th – exception is on the highway, starting at about speed 130. I don’t know what I can do now. I usually drove in normal mode during the drive-in and have always warmed the engine and avoided high speeds. I think I have to bring it to the workshop. Does/Had someone else have the same problems mi t his Ceed GT?
