Hello dear Saabians, as discussed so often in this forum, it’s also about saving fuel this time… My 96 he 900 II S, 2.0 i unfortunately can’t be convinced of less than 11 L fuel consumption. This with city traffic and moderate driving mode, you already know: driving forward, switching up early and rolling in idle mode with red lights. With my almost 30 years I feel honestly like a retired in road traffic… only the hat is missing. and the toilet paper roll on the shelf…! I talked about the fuel consumption last time with a friend of mine who runs a hobby workshop. To this the consumption of my old Swedes also seemed enormously high and offered me a chip tuning, where the consumption would be minimized by 2-3 L. Of course all this is very interesting, therefore my question to you: Is generally such a thing possible? What disadvantages does such a thing bring for the Fhz. or for the engine? It would be nice, to me the mitz If you have had experience with it or have any idea of it… Thank you in advance…
