Hello, in another thread I came across that my car probably consumes quite a lot in contrast to others. Since the thread did not answer too much due to the inappropriate topic, I try to get an impression here again. My Omit is a 2.2 l 16 caravan sport (switch). If I drive as good as just AB and hold the speedo needle around 120, then I can get 9 – 9.5 l on 100. Short distances also bring it up to 13 l and the normal highway ride with T acho 160 (Tempomat) brings it to 10.5 to 11 l. In the average mix (a part AB, a few short distances and a part Bundesstraßen/Ortsverfahren (rural) 10 to 30 km at a time) I regularly need 11 – 12. Between summer (235er) and winter tires (195er) lie again so about 0.5 l, which you have to calculate above. I thought so far: Good, really nice is not in the height, but is also a heavy car. However, I have heard of drivers several times now, d he almost has problems coming over the 11 l, and then I find my consumption much too high. What do you mean? I certainly don’t drive as one would learn on a fuel-saving course, but I never bring the car to the limit of efficiency. Greeting & thanks for opinions and possibly tips Mario
