Hello municipality, would like to transfer a portable DAB+ device via AUX IN with a 3.5mm jack over the RNS 810. So far so good. But now I have the MEDIA IN USB solution in the glove compartment ex factory. Which means that I have the 3.5mm jack input via cable, but then via USB the device cannot charge. Now I ask myself how and where the GP3 normally has an AUX IN jack if you don’t order the MEDIA IN USB and if you could install it afterwards. Dan I could feed the Audi signal via AUX IN and charge the portable device via MEDIA IN USB. Put the whole thing in the glove compartment and it’s good. There’s a portable part of Philips that works really well. On the other hand, I also thought that I could put the socket input 3.5mm jack in the center console, because there’s electricity over a Zigi jack. The question that arises is then just how do I add a 3.5mm jack to the RNS 810 next to the MEDIA IN USB solution. Whatever you could do: I could pick up the current on the light in the glove compartment, then use the DAB+ receiver via MEDIA IN with 3.5mm Kinke Kable. Now, however, the question arises again how I could go directly from the light cable without a large saxche to the current poles of a USB cable… Hmm… what do you think?
