Hello guys, exactly one month ago (the night from 02.07 to 03.07) my car was tried to steal. The burglars broke through the lock on the driver’s side into the car and tried to crack the ignition lock, which fortunately you did not succeed. Now to the actual problem: On 03.07. my car was towed, because the ignition lock is “overturned”, so I can neither start the car nor move. Since 03.07. my car is at a Ford workshop in d I have not received any information until today when the car will be finished. Statement from the car dealership was always: “Parts are ordered but when they will come and be installed is still unclear.” Now to my actual question: I would like to claim a use loss with my insurance, since I have to come to work for more than a month (bus/train). I have already read that in case of a complete theft of the vehicle gs no use failure is granted. Do I have in my case a chance to get usage failure from my insurance, because I am not responsible for the accident myself and yes also the use will exist. Or will it fail that the offender is not known and therefore my insurance will refuse the use failure? I have a comprehensive insurance with car protection letter at the VGH. Data about my car Skoda Octavia BJ 2008 105PS Diesel approx. Such amount can I get usage loss from my insurance company?
