Hello all, I need your help. My Ford Fiesta from 2007 has unfortunately broken, meaning: the engine control module (PCM) is gone. The component has been sent to a specialist company, but can no longer be repaired. :-(((The exchange would cost 3,000 EUR. I prefer to invest the money in a new car. Since my last Fiesta has slumped after 100,000 km and my current Fiesta also after 100,000 km I want to get away from Ford cars. After a long search and research (my Mrs. and I have agreed not to buy a used car again, but a day registration) we have two cars in the short choice: Hyundai i10 (advantage: 87 hp and 5 years factory warranty, disadvantage: slightly smaller than the Fiesta). Skoda Fabia 1.0 (advantage: bigger than the i10, disadvantage: “only” 75 hp, shorter warranty). Both of the price are the same. My current Fiesta has 82 hp. Therefore, it’s hard for me to make the decision. What do you recommend? Ch decide your gut feeling? Or are there clear advantages for one of both vehicles? (We use the car for city and highway including vacation.) For your tips I would be grateful. Greeting from a sad non-more car owner Andreas
