Hello. If I want to lift a VW with folding edge (VW Caddy 2K, Golf 4 etc.) on my lift platform (Nut tree SL230 with original rubber plates) on the threshold, the underbody protection and the paint are always affected. In my Mercedes vehicles there are rubber shots for lifting, but VW has only one mark on the threshold, but the fold is partly bent or the underbody protection is removed etc. Now I think I could use other rubber pads, e.g. which with V-Förmiger Nut, but I don’t know if the problem is only shifted. Or am I thinking too much, and that’s just like that? How is it handled in real VW workshops? Greeting
