First hello to everyone! Have a riiiiiesen problem and if my FOH can not find the error maybe one can help me here! Bitttte! I drive an Omega B 2.5 V6 year 1997. 6 weeks ago I had a small engine fire which could be immediately deleted. Lt. expert was the left valve cover seal defective, i.e. oil out, on exhaust manifold and feurio! Since this seal was replaced and thereby immediately deposits from the coolant were removed, my car runs The speed varies, the engine runs “unround”, the car “vibrates”, the engine is terribly loud (6cylinders) and we don’t want to talk about fuel consumption at all! In the lower speed range when accelerating, the engine makes a short jolt, but it never goes to the MKL. After 4 weeks of workshop I was told that this is on the timing belt( which is already 2 years in and already 20,000 km ). The opposing workshop tested this, half a tooth was skipped, was new But we still have the same problem. So let the error memory be read out, result: no error whipped. So back to the old workshop that built in the valve cover seal.Today we find out that it was the ignition cables!?! Besides, my FOH claims the chip roll turns in the wrong direction. Could that be at all? Didn’t the defective ignition cables have to be in the error memory? a defective valve cover seal has not been running properly for 6 weeks?
