Hi. Since I have not found / got a reply yet I try it here, because you know in this forum surely with the topic. It is not about a golf, but I had to specify something. I have been proud owner ines Adly MK-320 Mini Car, a buggy based on Quad. Unfortunately the coolant lines are strongly rusted. In order to make the vehicle ready for the MFK, I intended to derust these lines. Since the vehicle no longer produces The original cables are no longer available. In order to expand the cables, however, I have to disassemble the vehicle almost completely. I would have to disassemble the whole floor, the steering and the circuit, the operation of the differential lock and hand brake. Now I have considered whether I can replace the cables made of metal with flexible cables. How to replace brake cables with steel flex. Then I could simply cut out the old cables The vehicle has only 272 ccm, if the relevant one is. My question is: Is such a change possible, allowed, and if so, do I have to pay special attention to the flex line? Diameter of the pipes outside 16 mm, inside 13 mm. Length approx. 180 cm. The vehicle has neither air conditioning nor heating. I have searched for and found the following hoses. Outside, they have like the pipes 16mm, inside but only 10 mm. Is this a test Since the pipes are under the vehicle and are free, I would like to protect the hoses with a glass fibre cover when changing. What I am still wondering is whether the metal pipes may have an influence on the cooling performance and it could therefore be dangerous to replace them with hoses.
