Ride without a racetrack?

Hello, if you read all the reports about Mazda, Toyota GT 86 and Fiat Abarth Spider etc. like this, I wonder if you actually have something of it on normal country roads, if you have a “drift beginner-friendly” vehicle – or something like that can only be used on the Nordschleife or similar (I don’t want to talk about “sinning” We currently have a Toyota Auris Hybrid as a family car, with its almost 130 hp the strongest car I’ve ever owned. I’d like to take a ride on the highway – curves, brakes, acceleration – and sometimes a bit slip if possible. I’d like to take a ride on the highway with me. As you’re sure I’m “sport driver inexperienced” – could be enough for the ride (apart from the highway) even a used smart roadster (beautifully easy), or should it be an entrance r-sportcar a la Mazda MX5, with rear wheel drive etc.? Or do you have anything of the drift skills anyway on special routes in “free driving”?
