Hello, I wanted to report here what happened to me last week. I drive with my car and hear at the front right a shuffling sound.I thought that the shock absorber is defective because it is still the first. After I then raised the car at home with the jack, I saw the sound: the shock absorber sits in a tube inside the spring leg.It is held in this tube by a mother. Now underneath this mother the pipe is rusted and the damper hangs Now my question: Who has experienced similar things and how did SAAB behave? Despite the high mileage (213,000km) my dealer has applied for a bulwark and after first telephone calls with Rüsselsheim there is even hope. How can something like this happen. They give 6 years guarantee against rusting and after 5 years the chassis falls apart. I will set up a picture in the next few days and keep you informed. One more comment: I had been in Graz two days before the damage by car (960km journey distance) and then I was frightened when the damage occurred.
