Hello dear motor talk community, unfortunately I don’t know what is important when buying a car and therefore turn to you with confidence. We need a second car from the small/compact class for short distances mostly on the country road and in the city, hardly a motorway. The budget is up to 350€. It would be good if the car was not older than ten years and had five doors. The car should be in an appropriate condition i.e. not too repair prone and I would prefer a petrol engine to a diesel engine. The only equipment I would value would be an air conditioning system, but it is not a must either. Whether it’s manual or automatic transmission is not important. The car is used most of the time by one to two people, yet five people should be able to find space. I estimate the driving performance at about 10000 km/year.
