Hello Motor-Talker, I am currently looking for a new vehicle for me, probably I’m relatively early on searching but when choosing a vehicle for which I would like to spend so much money I would like to be thorough. At the moment I drive a smart fortwo coupé 450 grandstyle with 61 hp and 46800 km of 12/2006. I drive in the year >30000km and will therefore lose my car “soon” (smart typical engine damage in the range of 80-100 tkm). That’s why I think about a new car. Vehicle after. However, I should perhaps mention that I want to drive my current car “too scrap” in any case, should mean until it gives up the mind, at one point or another and it is not worth repairing it anymore. I don’t like the smart at all, my biggest criticisms are the incredibly terrible driving comfort, it almost feels like the smart at all is not cushioned. Furthermore, the high consumption for a car that is so tiny ( ). This does not mean that I like to drive fast, my travel speed on the BAB is at 90 km/h, but I would like to heat up a little bit from time to time because I am finally allowed on German motorways. My new car should definitely be a new car, loss of value back or forth, I don’t have to sell the car again in 4 years and then a new one to me. I think that’s economic nonsense. Just like my current car, I want to drive my new car “too junk”. (I guess only then is it going something in the direction that a new car is worth it) I’m really very careful with my car, 10-20 minutes warm driving is rule, short distances almost never take place, speeds over 3000 are only when I brake with the engine and switch I do as early as possible, undertouring would be my dream, automatic does not leave me unfortunately. The fuel monitor link shows that I drive very sparingly. So far I am only interested in German manufacturers (except smart! ), with other manufacturers I would have to be very convinced. Probably it is my engineering studies – at a local university … I am happy with a small (st) car. My dream car has: To concreteise my dream car: VW Polo BlueMotion (Diesel) – great therefore: ACC, an incredibly low consumption, not too big, not too heavy in, just great! Stupidly too expensive as I would have liked… (21.000€) Realistic ideas: VW Up! high up! with 60hp – great for that: relatively low consumption, 4 seats, great suspension (even tested, but I’m afraid after the smart I’m excited about everything), foldable rear bench -> large trunk for a small car!, speed if I want to buy and install Helix sound upgrades easily. I didn’t think about anything else. I would buy an up!, but I don’t like to hear from very durable gears the gears and it gets pretty much mottled – here and there. That makes me doubt, can also be the one that gets snarled about every car – I never thought about buying a car, my present is my first and that was an unbeatable offer of my parents – so buy! Just a little bit to my driving style: I drive very sparingly, if the liters/100km number after I’m happy about the next tanking a bit further down. It’s turned on immediately when it’s possible – with the switchcar this would be called undertouring. Accelerated with full load (which saves fuel in turn). If I go home in the evening and it’s free I would also drive a little faster than the typical speed of travel. I hope I don’t hit you here, I have little experience in car selection and would be happy about a consultation. I hope I could inform you in detail what I imagine and that I could at least express myself in a somewhat structured way! I thank you for any answers! Many greetings and another nice Sunday evening! – Daniel EDIT: With all the stories I forgot the following: What I should perhaps say again is that I only drive long distance, so if the car is not warm then it will not be driven (again in the sense of Haltba And the budget of course: so 21000€ for the polo are too much. A VW Up! for 14000€ is fine. I hope that says enough about…?
