A few weeks ago, I was about to buy or lease a spirit, but then I withdrew, because the dealer was not willing to offer mileage leasing. Supposedly, the brand was still too poorly placed and the residual value risk was not to be borne. A real shock, because I was not prepared to bear the risk of a residual value leasing. Meanwhile, I have found dealers, which offer kilometers leasing and have now entered the pre-purchase phase. Since I am a big technical fan, I would have some questions about the built-in Navi and hope that someone can answer this: * Does the navigation system Text to Speech, i.e. street names are announced? Should it be called, comes instead of “In 300 meters turn right.” something like “In 300 meters turn right into the Müllerstraße”? * What is the general quality of the Navi? What is it like with POI Search etc.? * Are there traffic reports and suggests the system alternatives? * We d continues to navigate via Bluetooth when you are on the phone? I mean to have read in an iX35 forum that this is not the case? If it is: With or without announcements? * A very important point is the iPhone control. I have an iPhone 4 and listen to my music/podcasts/audio books about it. Now I have also read that the control should not work properly by navigating system, i.e. that simply all titles are played one after the other without being able to intervene. Is this true? I was actually hoping that I would have the more or less complete sturdiness of the iPod/iPhone also via the vehicle display, i.e. navigation by interpreter, genre, change to podcasts and audiobooks etc. How is it really now? And does the control also work via the steering wheel? It is amazing that there is hardly anything to find in the net, videos e.g. that was it for the time being, I would really be very happy if someone could help me.
