Good evening together, my Citigo, 2014, 124Tkm, or the currently mounted summer tires make me and my workshop despair. The following problem: I drove through the area with winter tires on steel rims, as usual, all smoothly and okay. At Easter I then packed my summer tires, also on steel rims, on the car and already on the first ride I noticed a clear (also clearly visible) wobble of the steering wheel. 100 km/h, worsens up to 120km/h and even takes off a bit with faster driving (e.g. 150km/h). All this slightly depending on the road surface, the steering wheel shakes short (up to approx. 100km/h) more when I walk at 120 of the gas. In addition, the steering wheel trembles, even with a straight, constant road with cruise control 120 times more and less, without any apparent reason. With the thought of an imbalance I was not so wrong at first, the wheels were not a disaster. But I didn’t know exactly what to do either, so I read it. So now I’ve got balanced wheels moored by the workshop, but unfortunately I didn’t notice any difference during the test drive. I put the winter bikes on it at home again and everything was running around again. Then a small workshop marathon with control of the brakes, shock absorbers, tyres and rims started, without any knowledge. At some point, the point was reached, at which I decided, on the S This is exactly what I did today. On the basis of this article you could already guess it: The problem is still there. I looked at rims and tires on the force machine, but everything was quiet. So, that’s the current situation now. Against a change of the rims speaks now that these, each individual, run cleanly on the force machine. In addition, a change from rear to front axle and turned no verbess As the winter tires, however, no matter whether in winter or this week at 25 degrees, have never caused even the slightest problems, for me a damage to the car is unrealistic. Now the question: What do you think? Does someone have similar experiences? Can it be that the winter tire unbalances from the vehicle (e.g. drive shaft) “swallows” and the summer tire doesn’t? Best regards Moritz
