Timing belt change on 1.6L/16V 90Ps Escort

Hello together, even if it was a topic here several times…… I still need some support or courage for the timing belt change planned by me on my wife her favorite piece, the 94èr 1,6l 16V Escort GAL. After some reading here, I think that I can and want to perform this reperture myself. I ordered a repair book for the Fzg., only if the steering wheels slip away, but also so I think, it is better if you can look in there. My questions are: – does the water pump have to be changed with absolutely? – do you need any special tool (i.e. especially “curved” keys or nuts) or the like? (I am a craftsman; i.e. larger range of tools and also large nut boxes up to size 36 I have) – have heard that the engine has to be raised on one side…. is that so? – is there anything else important to consider spare parts I have selected from ebay…. so we want to drive with the vehicle for a few more years……it’s actually top iO from the sheet metal) – e.g. : Timing belt kit from “DAYCO”;;; belt 131 teeth/ 25,4mm wide/ 1pcs tensioning roller/ 2pcs pulleys is the right one………. the offer is about 50.-€ …….there are also others around 80.-€ and then more than 100.-€. With a friend of mine, who is at Wessels & Müller field serviceman, I would be incl. wedge rib belt, which I would like to wear with Allegedly everything is always first and manufacturer’s equipment. Can you give me tips on what you buy there. possibly also call me another manufacturer. in advance thank you for your answers Greeting karli
