Hello, I was with my car at the VW service today, and they told me that I had broken all my 4 winter tires. He showed me the (very light) finishings. They are bad to recognize, on photos you would probably not see them. They are not bumps! Alleged reasons for breaking the fabric: * Bad tyres or * Too much air or * Too little air. The tires are Continental WinterContact T810, built in 2007 (about 10000 km). I chewed them at ATU back then. ft, and they have always been changed by ATU. I checked air every now and then (according to information in the tank cover), and the air pressure was always rather at the upper end (maximum 2,7 bar allowed, there were always about 2,5 bar inside) – I never had to refill air, the tires keep extremely tight. I was never scratched on the curb or similar, and the car was driven exclusively by me. I also can not detect any noticeable noises. A few days ago I was also problem-free with 190 km/h on the road (tires are up to 190 km/h approved). I have never driven faster. The only thing I can imagine is that the tires stored in a damp cellar for about 3 weeks a few years ago. Is it possible/probably that my good 4 winter tires have tissue fracture? Thanks Chris
