We’ve got one of them: Distinctive thing: Opinions are in demand!

On Saturday, one of us drove to the front right of the fender while parked out. It is now smashed and you can no longer open the passenger door. Looks like it does after a sheet metal damage. The damage was taken up by the police and on Monday we will report to the Kia workshop. Now to the problem: The car still runs as a demonstration car on the Kia dealer. The contract is already signed (declaration of intent). The formalities are therefore “in the making”. The dealer ha t our old car is already bought, the rest should run from October. (Re-registration on us and payment). When will the car be an accident car (even in case of “simple” sheet metal damage?)? What does it look like with reduced value? Since it is a new car with a few kilometers: What will the Kia dealer get from the insurance company and how should you behave? If we buy the car it is an accident car, so is it worth less? (I think now I have asked the questions twice. ) In this case, I don’t want to hear much legal advice here, but rather “opinions”. Perhaps who has ever experienced such a case?
