Battery improvements on a price basis. Reverse from the price decline of the drive battery?

As some have already noticed, there is an improved battery which now has 90 kwh. Of course is a nice thing, but the earlier claims of more range at the same prices still sounds to me in the ears. I assume a temporary intermediate phase, which should dissolve with the start of the gigafactory. Moreover, no high quantities will be produced yet. So there is a temporary split. Old battery with 85 kwh and the bess of a 5% increase in battery performance per year I think is a bold assertion. I do not think that there will be 70/85/90/95 kwh in 3 years. The 70 he should then also pull along or is the production of the new cells more complex and thus more expensive, so that an adjustment over 5 to 8 years takes place? I assume that the 85 falls away in 2-3 years and it then a selection of 70 kwh (with fewer cells, to which the capacity does not There will be 90 kwh without extra charge. It is at any rate slightly different than with the burners. The optimized motors (depending on, among other things, less consumption, more power, longer timing belt interval etc.) are not covered with extra charges.
