So hello guys, I have questions: I got 2 months ago an Opel Kadett E-CC GSi 16V. The previous owner has tuned the Kadett to over 220 ps. Now I have the problem that the engine does not hold. I registered it and the next day I already have a valve guide damage, I broke a valve and pulled the pistons 1 & 3 quite in sympathy. The car was completely rebuilt in May this year and the engine was repaired at Mantzel (confirmed Now I have bought a new c20xe engine at ebay which has just 150tkm on it. Now I am standing in front of the question the tuning parts again or not, I mean if I have the tuning parts built again this time, the motor will be too scrapped again or will hold it this time. last time the engine broke because I overturned the car, the car has a chip inside the car and the engine will be broken. A little bit in the top drives 8240 rpm. So what do you mean again with the tuning parts or should I rather leave the fingers of them and sell the parts at ebay or something? these are the tuning parts built in in the motor : mantzel suction bridge (inlet outlet channels extended) ECU chip fan-curved sharp cam shaft (272°) lexmaul sports exhaust system (from KAT) overall the part has 224hp which unfortunately not hold, although my uncle says that this is a miracle I would be happy if the “connoisseurs” would tell me which decision will be the cheaper one for me (long time). By the way, I don’t pay any labor costs because the engine will be removed or installed by my uncle. the problem is that I can’t buy a new engine every week. I’m happy if you could help me!
