Hello, the entrance strips of my SL 500 R230 Mopf 1 BJ. 2006 were scratched and therefore I had them exchanged in the contract workshop. Now the entrance strips look very different inside than before and no longer fit to the outer entrance strips. The new ones are no longer with the two riffles, but completely smooth and shiny stronger. I have looked in the EPC and these are actually the ones of the SL 600. As external footboards were installed to me from BJ 2007 – wob The reason for Mercedes was that the original strips are no longer available and were officially replaced for the now built-in ones. Part numbers are: External right A2306801835 correct A2306805035 replacement External left A2306801735 correct A2306804935 replacement Internal right A2306802035 correct A2306804035 installed Internal left A2306801935 correct A2306803935 installed Can’t be that Mercedes for 5 years old vehicles has no Spare parts have more? I mean, it looks pretty stupid with me, because the inner ones don’t fit the outer bars anymore. Of course, it will look even less consistent with drivers who only change an inner footbar. Then the symmetry in the interior is completely lost. Isn’t there even a rule that spare parts must be available for 15 years? Or did the dealer give me wrong information?
