Hello to all CR-V drivers. I urgently need your help. I try to get the following information for over 1/2 year. I got my CR-V in February 2010 as a new car (special edition 2.0, 150 hp, gasoline) Now to my problem: On my engine was a nice, large engine cover in silver, which was always nicely cleaned by me and my wife (probably aluminium ripped) which filled almost the whole engine area (in the lower area was a red (k after a complaint measure at the beginning of June 2012 I had picked up the vehicle from the workshop, but no longer looked in the engine compartment. On my holiday trip at the beginning of August I wanted to make a check on oil and disk cleaner again, then I noticed that my engine cover was no longer in the vehicle. I could look into the footroom, which was not possible with the engine cover. I telephoned with the We rkstatt and had also appeared on site, but the statement of the workshop master was “for this model there is no engine cover, only for diesel” I doubted this to 500 %, without success. Then I drove to the sales house of my vehicle and to other handlers, but everywhere I was hidden. Supposedly there is no engine cover for this vehicle.
