Hello together, I’m more passive here, but this time I think some advice/experience can help me. 🙂 Well, I’m looking for a new vehicle. I’m currently driving a 330ci, but I’m basically inclined to BMW and Japanese. Conditions: Drive about 30,000km a year, almost just a motorway, want a combo and automatic. Maximum! I want to spend 23.000€. I no longer need a racing machine, the 330ci was enough. Must relax slowly. Fol I have selected the following vehicles: 1. Mazda 6GJ (Diesel) from 2013 2.2L with 175hp automatic 2. BMW 520D F10 from 2011 2.0L with 184hp automatic Now I was able to research the following points. Partially on facts, partly from the corresponding brand forums. Advantage Mazda: – In sum, a model with a few km is possible and more new than the BMW (up to 50,000km Built. min 2013) – Factory warranty with extension possible Disadvantage Mazda: – Higher value loss – Vulnerability i – Higher fuel consumption Advantage BMW: – Value-stable – Economical – Valuable disadvantage BMW: – Older and with more KM than with Mazda to get for the purchase price (from 70,000km and year 2011) – The ZF 8 gear transmission seems not to be the most reliable either. Follow-up costs can become extremely expensive. – No factory guarantee, if any guarantee possible. Other topics such as equipment I would like to know if you have already had experience with one of the two vehicles, or even compare them. I would like to drive the car reliably for at least 5 years = 150,000km ago Thank you for your experiences.
