I picked up our new i40 in the garage 2 weeks ago and am so happy. I waited for 7 Moante and was happy when this was finally delivered. We agreed on various extras such as panoramic roof or side airbags at the back. At the acceptance I was assured that everything was delivered according to my wishes. Now I noticed, however, that the side airbags in the back of the car are not written on what I mean The dealer has now had to admit to me after several working investigations that these were not available. In the purchase contract they were explicitly mentioned, because these are very important to me. The dealer apologized to me and said that this had not been clarified correctly before the purchase was completed, since the side airbags in the back of this model are not selectable at all and can not be installed afterwards. He offered me the price for the airbags at to deduct a future purchase of spare parts (e.g. winter bikes etc.), which in my opinion is not exactly Kullant. I gave him to understand that I would have made the purchase with him, since his offer for the overall package was the best, including the airbags. Otherwise I could have made the purchase also at another dealer, who gave me at the beginning to understand that he could not deliver the car with the airbags. I am now not sure what I can do from the dealer I just think that the refund of the surcharge for the airbags is not done because, as I said, he has not dealt with the competitors carefully enough and I would not have bought the car from him in these circumstances.
