Hello, my parking car was hit today. The perpetrator rammed my car while parked, noticed it and looked at his car. Unfortunately he did not do anything and simply went on. Thank God a witness watched this and left me a message at the windshield. I waited another 1 hour and finally called the police. Finally I was cold at some point and finally I am the victim. i took everything and talked about crime. After a good 1.5 hours also the lady who drove my car and of course played everything down. Thank God there was a witness. The police talked about crime (driver’s escape?). How about the insurance now? According to the police I don’t have to do much. The perpetrator reports this to her insurance and passes it on to mine. But what interests me in particular is the matter with the expert and the driver’s flu. cht. Of course, the insurance company wants to push the costs. – Can I hire an expert of my own? – Can I choose a workshop of my own? – Do I wait or become active myself? – I have read that the insurance may not pay if it is a driver’s flight (which would be the case here). So the woman herself would have to pay for the damage. Is that right? What if she does not pay herself? Then I would have to manage it myself via my complete? – Wa s are my rights?
