Hello together, Since my cars arrive on Tuesday (hopefully), I would like to take care of the conversion and acceptance/approval, insurance etc.. Primarily it is about the Olds (1966 oldsmobile dynamic 88 convertible) I have already read some things in the search, but some things are still a bit unclear to me. – Headlights. I know that the new ones have to be equipped with e-examination machines. But what exactly does this look like? Do I really have to change the complete headlight incl. scatter disks? Where do you get such a thing, so that it fits as much as possible without having to destroy /bore something on the original etc.? Does someone have a tip for a good source of supply? Then the topic reflectors: do I use red in the back, right? – Do you also need special? – is there at least size? – can I just glue them with double-sided tape? – red turn signals can be left at 66er Bj, if I understand that correctly. – Then I still have curvature lights in the fender that are activated when you turn the bl Can they stay or do they have to be deactivated? – I was told by one from the US workshop that you have to insert the VIN into the sheet metal, because the “plate” as it is typical in the USA is not recognized. Is that right? If so, where does it have to be struck? – Fog rear lamp does not need it. – how is this with rear-view lights? – how with standing light? Then another question about insurance: For a classic car insurance company, I break an expert report, right? Ha b at klassik Data. There are 2 different reviews (150euro) and detailed (350 euros). Which I need there. Many questions! I hope for many answers 🙂 Thanks already! Greetings Marc
