Short distance with 997 Turbo – really a problem?

Are there really such extreme problems with the 997 Turbo with a lot of short distance? No matter who I have talked to so far (Porsche Zentrum or Freunde), it was advised not to use the 997 Turbo much on short distance. The statements were always similar: Problems with the loader would be preprogrammed, as they do not reach the necessary operating temperature and would thereby be damaged in the medium term. I ask, since I get a 997 Turbo Cabrio in June 2008 and towards the end The alternative is a second car for the way to work. But I only drive about 8,000 km a year and I would like to spend it mostly (as now) in the Porsche. I will certainly drive a bigger round to work, but will not be the rule. Of course I drive not only through the city to work with the turbo, but also country road and highway. I also realize that a turbo absolutely the fa Is the vehicle for the short distance, but my question is, how big would the damage really be for the engine? Has anyone had experience or already had problems? Perhaps the engine experts can give me some more information. Thank you and greetings Gregor
