Hello everyone in the forum, I need a tip, at least a bit nice response: for about three weeks I have had my new XC 90 2.5 T. Up to now I have covered about 1,000 km with it, especially in urban traffic, once longer “over land”. Everything is nice, except for the consumption of the fuel! If the consumption measurement is correct – from which I assume – the average consumption is 16.5 L/100 km, tendency is rising!! Of course I know that this vehicle is not a savings box, but the h I’m not expecting it now. I’m one of the quiet drivers and I don’t have a hectic driving style. Can the consumption still fall after a “return time”? Does it have to be adjusted a bit differently? What consumption do I have to adjust to in the long term with the engine? I hope for useful hints, although according to my impression the 2.5 T is only represented here in the forum. The diesel seems to be quite clearly in the majority. Thank you for every answer Ralph ( who looks every day at the prices of gasoline with sorrows)
