Follow: 3 points, re-training seminar and 180€ penalty. To Auto & co: The car is actually mine, but is registered with my grandmother and insured. She registered me as a driver with the insurance, accordingly I am insured. The whole was a lot cheaper than to insure about me. My grandmother where hnt in Nuremberg, I live in Munich. There the measurement was also carried out. So, after 3 weeks a note ends up with my grandmother, she should tell the police the driver. After Omi is a good mare, she submitted her right of refusal in writing. Toughly, the police then called her and questioned you, however, she answered every question with “I refuse my statement”. As far as so good. Recently, a letter from the police in the cast is with me. I should make a statement about the driver. First question: How does the police manage to find out that I am driving with this car? Neither my mother, nor my grandma nor I have the same name. Besides, I don’t know a sow at Omi in the neighborhood, because I can only be seen 5 times in the year. Does the police drag my flash photo through their file and compare biometric data? Or do they let themselves be told by the insurance company, who is responsible for the accident? However, my brother (outside the probation period) is also registered as a driver. After we both look quite similar and the camera photo would not necessarily identify one of us directly, the question arises for me what happens if I hire my brother as a driver. If the advantage of my probation period would not be extended and I would save the 350€ for the follow-up training seminar. I would logically pay the penalty. Jaaaa I know false testimony and so on, but would the police not be happy if the penalty is paid and the points are awarded? Even if it is the wrong one… What are my chances? Did any of you experience something similar and what do you recommend to me?
