Loudness on tyres

a friend of mine called me today and asked me the following question: he bought a used car in winter. logically, winter tires were mounted. however, the summer tires were also object of the purchase. today he mounted them. he noticed that neither the running direction on the tyre flank is indicated nor the previous owner marked the tyres regarding their former assembly locations (e.g. front left, front right, etc.) his question was now what he should do. unfortunately I could not give him any information about it. the following considerations went through my head: – if no running direction is specified on the tires it can not be relevant from the profile either – my driving teacher meant, however, that the metal parts (especially those of the running surface) of a mature drive in with the time on a running direction. both arguments therefore speak against each other. he finally mounted the matures after good luck and hopes n Since they were mounted on the car for only 3 months, there was no difference in the profile depth visible. however, the small age of the matures also depresses my second consideration. I would like to hear your opinion and, if necessary, the information of an expert from our center. Greeting André
