Hello, I have planned for a long time to buy my first Toyota – and a Yaris – soon. Actually I am interested in a 1-2 year old car, but the new 1.33-litre engine from model year 2009 seems to me also quite interesting… So I would be happy if someone could write some enlightening words about some of my numerous questions here. I have no idea, for example, how robust such a start-stop automatic is t. Can any of you assess this? Can you assume that such a thing would entail an increased maintenance requirement? Or is this already a sophisticated technology that works completely smoothly? Since it is a completely new engine: Do you think that one has to reckon with children’s diseases?
