This week I was with my Fiat Punto at the “Friendly”. Among other things, this has made me new brake pads on the front disc brakes. Do I have to “brake” these (first you achieve the optimal braking performance of the new pads after a few times, or they immediately have the full power)? How long can the braking take if you have to brake the pads? The brake disc has not been changed. What makes you realize whether the brake fluid is too old (wurd e also not changed)? What is the reason why the Punto has drum brakes at the rear? Are they not completely evraltet and represent a safety risk (because of longer braking distances)? Thanks for your answers mfg franz
