In turn, after I got some proper help with my backlight problem, I thought I’d ask you about your experiences with this idea; the bulb for dipped and driving light installed in the main headlight is, to say the least, rather pathetic in the light yield. I changed the built-in one for a standard bulb from Hella ( BA20D socket 35/35W ). Improvement = zero. In Internet research I am on the Philips S2 and the Osram X-RACER S2 Halogen pushed. Can one tell me if it is good and actually and noticeably more useful than the stand wheel bulb? Or do you have experience with even better light sources of the same design? Alternatively, I could imagine installing additional headlights. Only which one? Is it necessary to accept individual parts at the TÜV including registration? Or is there any without modification of the design and at the same time fear of the expiry of the approval?
