For my ML350CDI I chose the perfect rims for me in hard work, e.g. by visiting the Essen Motorshow last winter as well as by a lot of internet research: It should be Tomason TN4 in 10×22 ET40. After the decision I turned to Tomason on 14.02.2010. Everything no problem: the rims are available until the end of March. Since Tomason did not want to register the wheels myself I have the wheels with my tyre handle In the middle of April I asked when the wheels would probably come. The demand at Tomason showed: The rims are available in mid-June. Later I called Tomason myself. There you are not able to mention the delivery date in writing. Only the delivery date mentioned in the middle of June is only 80% safe. The whole was crowned by arrogance and various insolence. Since I now have my 265/45/20 winter tyres n I wanted to ruin it and of course finally wanted to ride with corresponding summer bikes on Monday I went looking for an alternative product. I ended up at the Rim Center Oberberg in Engelskirchen. After a short phone call we arranged for the rim test for Tuesday. Said, done. So I went to Engelskirchen on Tuesday. With very good advice and very friendly treatment and fair price negotiation it is then Lombartho LX Silver became in 10×22 ET55. On the rear axle additional 15mm track distributions were installed. The overall look of my vehicle was greatly improved. The wheels close flush with the fenders. Just as I had wished. Then it went to TÜV Köln. There the installed wheels and track widenings were registered without complaints. Conclusion: At Tomason I was not only called a unwieldy delivery date. The consultation was also wrong. Because the 10×22 ET 40 would have stood over the fenders without a widening of the fenders at the front 15mm.
