Moin Together, I try to keep it short and short. I don’t actually come from the Citroen area, but I have a C3 BJ. 2013 in care which is now causing trouble. So: Hello to the Citroen Forum! The car has the oh so wonderful and above all long-lasting 1.2 liter 3 cylinder with 82hp, which has not yet 100tkm on the clock and is probably close to the engine damage. It consumes for 2 to 3 years heaps of oil (estimate already 1-2 liters on 1000km, but have never really determined it. t) and the other day I noticed that the candle picture was correct, so it was already well encrusted. The car sounded strangely hollow, which is probably due to the fact that the cat is scrap or loose, according to the workshop this is also due to the oil burning. But engine runs so far and has even compression. Now my question: Where does the oil consumption actually come from? Would it be done with a revision of the head? I am learning a car and would probably trust me to get it out of there, but did not have the possibilities d The whole engine could then be removed and dismantled. The head could then be overtaken by the engine builder and put on it again. Or does the whole thing go rather towards piston rings? Maybe someone knows here the engines and the cause of the problem. Please clear me up, I am curious! Otherwise a nice evening and thank you for your help!
