I think there, if for example Fiat would have been awarded the contract, on common platforms, like e.g. 500/Panda/F ord KA/Opel Corsa/Lancia Y, that would have saved a lot of development money and enabled a reasonable amount of vehicles to be produced on a platform, the same is true for all models of both brands! They don’t have to complement each other, synergies are more important today than ever, that can’t happen without job losses seems logical to me, which I regret very much, what can Magna offer without conflicting with GM (should be a big customer of them)?
