Routine timing belt change at the Megan Benzimotor

Hello Renault friends, I have a Megan convertible his 5 1/4 years, but so far I have driven only 10,000 km. Unfortunately the sun did not shine so often or I had to work. Now the Renault service wants to change the timing belt and thinks that he has aged and can tear. This thing costs so around 600,– EUR, because also the water pump and the pulleys should be replaced. Not that I think such a timing belt lasts forever, but that after 5 years it automatically and completely unab It is certainly made of a high-quality material. Is the belt verifiable on cracks or aging phenomena? Does it age at all worth mentioning and if so what? How often does such a belt really tear in practice? I ask for your experience in order to be able to assess the risk better. Many greetings and always good ride! hansi99
