I myself drive the 451 turbo with 84hp year 2007 (automatic) and now had to find out several times that after a fast drive with kickdown and switch in the high speed range, the gears in the following are really beaten in. Even the start is gently not possible anymore. The situation then stops about a day and then disappeared without a trace. Several smart drivers in my vicinity have already confirmed this and think this is completely normal. Unfortunately, I can’t believe that because you want to torture the little bit. In the net I found already information that the switch actuator has about 15 stored fields for different driving modes. Now it can be, according to my thought, that after a fast drive in a certain “sport mode” is fixed and not so fast from there. Now I ask myself if this is actually so normal?
