Which 126 has the gene as a classic?

Hi my colleagues, since they also have such a Fred in the department W124, I would like to know what you think, what makes a classic of the series 126? Is it equipment/motorization? Is it the condition (original)? Is it the age (first series or second series)? So I am located at the very rear with the condition of mine and the age: at the end of 1990 year of construction, no longer original engine and currently under construction SEC with 500 engine. Most of you know it yes I find the car must look somewhat original. The only thing that has to mean is that it can be subtly lower (that is, the coupé at least) and have small adjustments that could come from the 80s. What’s not possible is modern tuning on the 126s!
