Hello, when changing the tires yesterday I noticed that the WR are older than I had in my head. According to DOT-NUmmer (5105) already 8 years! :O There are Barum Polaris 2. The profile is still about minimum profile depth but you can see clearly that they are worn out and what worries me: In one place a approx. 2 cent large piece is missing… about 2 mm deep, here a picture for clarification:http://abload.de/thumb/20131109_1605012nkuk.jpg Here in the close-up you can also see g ut that the tire I think is at the end of its ZEit:http://load.de/thumb/20131109_163045fmsul.jpg Do you think I can still drive with it this winter? I don’t live in the Alps or something, rather flat but at least 4 times a week I have to drive 150km with it… Unfortunately I just lack the money to get four good (if I want to have reasonable tyres) winter tires. Ginge at the earliest in December…
