Hi, he’s not on the road yet, my 78 C10 with 3 gears, but I’m already thinking about how to get the speed down when driving on the highway. I heard there are overdrive gears that you stroll behind the original gearbox, then you just have to cut the cardan shaft. Otherwise I could look for a longer translated diff, but I still have to find out if they can be replaced like that. Or I’m looking for a 3speed with overdrive, it w in the USA also a few offered, but you never know what arrives in Germany and they are so at 1700-2000$, with just a play money for the uncertainty. What are there and what possibilities do I have?
