Hello, I am just looking for a car and had actually already set me on a V50 with the 1.8 petrol. Now an acquaintance of the 2.0 diesel would still be worth it despite everything at 15,000 a year. Invoice is: with fuel price 1.50: petroler with average 8.5 l = 1912 Euro diesel with average 6.5 l = 1460 Euro This saves you about 450 Euro per year, that should last forever for the extra expenditure with the tax. The more expensive the fuel, the faster the diesel then calculates itself despite the same fuel price. Does the invoice at all agree. Did the diesel always pay off even because of the lower fuel prices. What about the service costs with petroler compared to the diesel? Many thanks already for the answers. vg Sven
