Hello, I would like to address with a special request to all forum members, especially those with SL experience. Is it possible to install an LPG car gas system into an SL R129 ? The question arises because the usual installation location of the tank is the wheel pit. Exactly there is probably a part of the top control in the R129. Is that true ? Alternatively, a cylinder tank in the trunk would be conceivable – at least in theory. I do not want to start a dispute about the meaning of LPG in a luxury car. I am well aware that the fuel costs in this category do not represent the main share – especially since an SL is rarely used as a everyday vehicle for long distances. With best star greetings Sven
