Sooo…now it is “official”. Autozeitung today’s edition: Comparison test Fiat 500 – Mini One – Twingo GT – Smart Fortwo. Result Mini clearly ahead of the competition, 2nd place Twingo, 3rd place Fiat, 4th place Smart. The Mini wins very clearly in the categories Driving comfort, the Fiat here with quite loud indoor noise and poorly appealing suspension penultimate. In the engine classification the Turbo of the Renault wins ahead of MIni and ahead of Fiat. In the driving dynamics as a parade discipline of the Mini he drives up and away all competitors. Only in the environmental/cost balance he looks not so good, but the Fiat is better here but only third behind the other two cars of Smart and Renault. Clear overall winner thus the Mini One. To the measured values: Fiat and Mini accelerate almost identical to 120, the intermediate sprint values are almost at the same time, as the final speed, but only on the round course the Mini drives away the Fiat clearly. In the slalom the Fiat is surprisingly close to the mini and the test consumption is identical with both vehicles with 7,8 liters. However, the same as the repeat of the Fivetronic is moderate at the price.
