My buddy had a slight accident about 10 weeks ago. A woman drove into his standing car against the bumper. Not bad, but the Plaskik was pressed in, the paint was heavily damaged on 15 cm. I had a similar accident with the identical vehicle years ago and the damage amounted to 1200,- Euro. The lady probably had no time and left a note with the phone number. In my opinion already borderline, because the police consider this probably as a driving escape. Jed After a week, the woman announced that she had overcompensated with the insurance and didn’t pay. After that, the insurance quickly registered with him and sent him an expert commissioned by the insurance company. Unfortunately, he agreed to this procedure. In any case, he received 180,- Euro !!! as compensation from the insurance company afterwards. Understandably, he was now quite pissed off. Reason was probably that the reason was that a higher compensation would represent an increase in the value of the car. Admittedly, the car is a 20-year-old Volvo, but technically in a top condition and definitively these cars are traded higher. Unfortunately, he did not listen to my advice and has probably done everything wrong, which can be done wrong. Now, in retrospect, one can still proceed against this damage regulation and possibly the damage causer still due to driver flight.
