About 3 years ago I bought a brand new Opel Antara 2.2 CDTI with 163 HP Design Edition. We had so much problems in the 3 years as never before with another car. Among other things, the following defects were repaired with a mileage of only 37,000 KM: 4 transmission damage (more on this below) drive shaft defect turbocharger defective oil tank leaks injection nozzles defective starter defective engine control chain housing leaks, defective door panel got cracked seats were rissi g panel amaturary board massive gap dimensions, sun-drenched rust at the rear at rear light radio remote control defective turbo again leaks clutch defective The upper hammer 3 times the flywheel was renewed, as defective!!!!! windscreen washing system defective, water sprayed in engine room injection system leaks, whole diesel sprayed in motorcycle diesel pump makes strange noises engine in idle power makes strange noises (pipes) engine battery defective, renewed recall action due to starter Temperature sensor defective car often did not jump up, error was never found alarm system went off constantly, without apparent reason. Bumper hung away at once, material fatigue There were still several more defective occurred, unbelievably what can break everything for 3 years, moreover only at a mileage of less than 40,000 KM. I have driven more often than my own car. So, the car is shit without end! In March the car was not 3 years old, it became again a new Gearbox installed, meanwhile the third, the last was after 5,000 KM scrap, while switching it made only crackling noises. We drove the car really gently! And now comes the Oberhammer, last week I noticed that the new gearbox is completely leaking. It ran out massive transmission oil. In addition, we were towed 2 times in the last 2 weeks! The ADAC even found that during the last transmission repair the tube and holder for the turbo hose at the egg The turbo has smoked massively black, and this one came in a year ago. People the application was first registered in 2012, had only 37,000 KM on the speedometer. Finally I pulled a line and sold the car. The car is qualitatively simply scrap, it can’t be said otherwise. What was already broken about the car is inconceivable. I advise everyone from the purchase of an Opel, the Opel, as well as the cars there But there were only problems, constantly breakdowns and you had to be towed away. In addition, the consumption is simply much too high for today’s time with well over 9 liters diesel. I will never buy an Opel again in my life. Opel in Rüsselsheim has done a lot of work again and again, but what does it do if it always breaks something again and again. The application is really a beautiful car, but technically just garbage. Ic h I have bought a VW Passat now, I am absolutely thrilled, you can already notice when you close the doors that there is a clear difference in quality. In addition, after 3 years the Antara has already started rusting….. Never again Opel! Even if most of it has run over warranty, what does that bring me if you can’t rely on a car. You want to drive it and not drive a car all the time! Also in the circle of acquaintances drive some Opel, also here you heard by the bank only problems and defective… Then there were statements, when I had a transmission damage, the transmission whistle without end, I should make the radio louder, then I wouldn’t hear it anymore! Incredibly such a thing….. I wish you more luck, who is considering buying one, I advise you personally. I also know someone who has the old model, here the same, constant workshop stays and thousands of euros of repairs….
