Hello, here’s a small “discussion” about my purchase advice thread in the forum “general purchase advice”. Evtl again a few words about this: I am a 22 year old apprentice, who currently drives an Alfa Romeo 147 1.6 Twin Spark (120Ps), BJ 2004 with 200,000 kilometers. This slowly says goodbye to me or becomes more and more to a barrel without ground, concerning workshop visits and the resulting costs. Now I want to buy a “new” used small or compact car up to 500€. With a special focus on longevity, reason and economical fuel consumption. I particularly like Golf/Polo or Leon/Ibiza or a Opel Corsa, all in the range of 2007-2010. However, I have been advised by models >2000, especially for golf/Polo, because the tax chain, which is probably installed in these engines, should be trouble-responsible. Is there any exception models or similar alternatives?
