Hello, so, today was the day when I was able to test the Lexus IS 220d SPORT with a short translation against its competitors (not quite suitable for the thread – but at least I wanted to make it known). The significance of a 30 min. drive per vehicle is also small. However, the idea of Lexus is already very good. A4: The Audi with its old PD engine really gave itself the most powerful, of course, therefore also the roughest and loudest. Haptics in the interior ok, but not h Only with ingredients such as exclusive leather and piano varnish is something out of it. The interior is anyway ́antiqued and does not keep up with the TT or A 6 for a long time. The car would therefore simply not be in question for me, since it does not appeal to me for reasons of choice (I drive e.g. the E46 touring also for opt. reasons, since I don ́t like Lim. and the coupes with the respective engine are quite rare). I don ́t want to discuss the topic of front or rear drive here further. E90: as a precondition The E90, however, is too sober and cool in the interior, only the combination with white leather and piano lacquer would be a compromise 😉 The car was quite difficult to drive, because it had only 1500 km on the hump. Downstairs tied up and blessed with not much suit, as well as quite grim. However, last year I had an E91 of which I was quite enthusiastic, quiet, d The I-Drive is a matter of taste. Circuit as always a poem, so the gears and the car feels solid. Lexus iS: Opulent equipped, this Alcantara cut of the seats would not be my case, but if then volleys preferred choice. Starting ok, not as vehemently as with the Audi, but also a slightly haply circuit and a slight Bonanza effect (too soft suspension?). Driving noises only very discreetly perceptible, as well as the engine – above rclasse like! A car for the long distance, very quiet, powerful, excellent music system! Very playful and technized displays on the entire dashboard (but I like it!). At the front you sit great, also quite low, but at the back quite high. The chassis was actually similarly polishy as the old Spfwk. at the E46, that of the E90 is far more comfortable. Wouldn’t bother me, because the overall comfort is really good. The all-round view is etws less good than in the competition. In my view, the selectable wheel size is limited to the 18″ version – otherwise there is nothing left in the wheelhouse – analogous to the E90. The trunk is a grey one. Deep and thereby small, cave-like access without a transferable rear bench – but in fact also forfeitable with the diameter of the load hatch, since you have to borrow another car for bulky objects…The trunk is not as high-quality as d The M.L. music system is the highest quality I’ve ever met in the Car Hifi area. The touchscreen is very luxuriantly dimensioned and includes the most varied possibilities. For a nice weekend in front of the house or in the garage is definitely taken care of, you want to try out all the functions or even master them… The only drawback in the interior: the sometimes cheap large series Toyota levers and switches. Whether keyless Z ugang systems with start-stop button are now functional and necessary everyone may decide for themselves. In short: a positive conclusion with the Lexus. So it remains to me only to keep in mind that I found another potential candidate in the car purchase in 11 months next to the E91, a signum from Opel and the Alfa 159. The technical games are already very tempting and with full equipment the car costs just over 40 T€, since my choice E91 would be far from…
