Does one really believe that VW continues to play in the upper class with the Phaeton?? The next Phaeton becomes an inflated CC (if at all). VW has gone a good way with the Phaeton. But the market now shows who really is upper class. Everyone is aware of how good the Phaeton is. However, it will never be enough for a worse processed S-Class. However, if you had heard about the EPOC, you would have developed a really good marketing strategy. But VW knows what the upper class customer likes. No, no people – the adventure Phaeton is unfortunately over. I will pick up the Xten Phaeton next year. But that will probably be the last one. It is and remains an outdated car, which only sells / leases itself over the price. Too bad that VW has not taken the chance to think about the novelty EPOC once and to pick up its proposals 🙁 But VW is and remains a mass manufacturer in the middle market segment, but only remains full of the middle market segment.
