Juhuu – I dared. …to import a car directly from the USA – A Lincoln Town Car, BJ 1988. Everything went quite smoothly until I went to the TÜV today. Full acceptance according to § 21. The good news : No technical defects – juhuuu! The but very bad news: The TÜV uncle does not like my red turn signals and suggests to me that I should install orange ones there… Great in theory, but practically not possible – then I also have a yellow brake license But I can’t imagine that I can see newer US cars driving through the area with their red turn signals again and again. In addition, it was complained that the standlight (blinker) is yellow. With my previous car (1987er Buick) it was the same, but I bought it already with German registration. Is it really true that I no longer have an exemption for the car? can get??? What do I do then??? Extra yellow rear blinker to grow??? Oh yes, for the side limit lights, in front of yellow, back red and the white side light in front, which is turned on when blinking, I could get an exception… I’m going mad…. Need HELP!!!!
